Warranty & Care

Currumbin Woodworks will supply quality product, manufactured wherever possible using Australian materials. All manufacturing is carried out in our workshop in Currumbin, Australia.

Currumbin Woodworks guarantees their products for a period of 10 Years from the manufacturing date to be free from manufacturing defects. Currumbin Woodworks guarantee their product to be supplied fit for the purpose offered or as quoted and confirmed, and used considerately thereafter.

This guarantee does not cover misuse or damage due to environmental factors such as exposure to extreme conditions, prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, scratches, burns, or inappropriate use or use of inappropriate cleaning products or breakage of glass, or damage to 3rd party property. This guarantee does not cover damage by carrier beyond Currumbin Woodworks, and recommends customers consider insurance.

This guarantee does not cover cost of transport beyond Currumbin Woodworks. The cost of transport shall be the responsibility of the purchaser. In the case of a complaint under this guarantee the customer should contact Currumbin Woodworks with proof of purchase.

This guarantee does not cover normal wear and tear and in the case of faulty hardware, does not cover labour for onsite fitting. Currumbin Woodworks reserves the right to determine manufacturing faults and repair any product covered by this guarantee. As solid timber is a natural product, this guarantee does not cover minor movement of timber panels over time.

All Currumbin Woodworks furniture comes with a 10 Year Manufacture’s Warranty. Our 100% satisfaction guarantee and 10 year warranty are important to us and should give you piece of mind when considering solid timber custom furniture from us.

Looking After Your Solid Timber Furniture

Timber has stood the test of time as a reliable furniture material and correct care will give you many years of service from the furniture piece you choose.

  • Dust frequently, using a clean, soft cloth. In order to avoid scratches, take care to lift objects and never drag or slide them across the surface
  • Use a mild soap and water solution to clean a spill and make sure you completely dry the surface.
  • Avoid the use of strong detergents and glass cleaners. Use only products that contain natural ingredients. Do not use silicon based products.
  • Do not leave rubber or vinyl mats on the surface as this may cause yellowing.
  • Blot spills immediately using a dabbing motion. Do not rub.
  • Never attempt to make major repairs to any finished surface without the advice and the assistance of a professional.
  • When cleaning vinyl, Wash the surface with a mild solution of soap and water then rinse thoroughly and let completely dry.
